When you see a lever that needs to be hit from afar, launch one of the projectiles at it with your Frying Pan. Or, just try to follow each Sam until you get the right one.Īfter the trip down memory lane, work your way through the corridor of enemies. When you see multiple copies of Sam in areas you have visited previously in Eastward, follow the Sam that matches your memories. Investigate the TV every time you have the chance as you continue right through the hallway. Head up all of the stairs until you get to a cutscene. Head back and go up the stairs to the right. Take it to find a chest with a heart orb. Cook if you need to and move on to the left.Īfter you dodge multiple sets of lasers and head down a set of stairs, keep heading down and to the left to get to a teleport pad. Take the right path to warp to a treasure chest with 150 salt and a stove. Use your gun or your cog launcher for the best results. In the next area, you'll have to fight a large zombie. Place a remote bomb by the switch and drag the statue back to the right Detonate the bomb and place the statue on the pad to continue to the right. Here, drag the statue to the light pad in the bottom left. Head to the bottom left of the area and detonate the bomb. When you get to the area with the lasers, head down to the switch. Continue on until you reach a giant generator you can turn on to reveal the path forward. Drag it up to the light pad at the top of the area. Move down to the statue and detonate the bomb. Drag the statue to the light pad in the middle of the path, but be quick, because it expires after a short amount of time. During the mine's slug invasion, he helps by unlocking the storeroom, allowing John to access the bombs he needs to destroy the slug nests and prevent repopulation.Time to save Sam. Clearly having built a good friendship with the two, Chuck shows only kindness toward them.Ĭhuck is seen to squabble with Yohn in minute ways, such as refusing to lend tools due to Yohn's track record of not returning them.Ĭhuck first greets John and Sam as they are on their way to the dig site for the first time, during the prologue.
